Ukes of The North Festival

Our annual ukulele festival for ukulele players and clubs
across the North East

Ukes of the North Festival 2025

Saturday 12th July 2025

Low Fell Ukes will be running its fourth Ukes of the North festival this summer and invites ukulele players to either take part or simply enjoy the day.

Ukes of the North will be a one-day ukulele festival on 12th July 2025 bringing together ukulele players of all abilities from across the North-East, providing the opportunity to perform, share music, build links between ukulele clubs and players and, of course to have fun!

The festival will take place at Gateshead Rugby Football Club, Eastwood Gardens, Low Fell, Gateshead NE9 5UB. There is no entrance cost but it would be helpful to know if you are intending to come along and join us for a full afternoon and evening of solid uke fun.

We will be starting at 12 noon again and finish around 9pm. There will be a bar and free snacks available.

The Ukes of the North club Festival will provide the opportunity for amateur ukulele clubs, groups and soloists to take to the stage and share their music. All performers will have their own dedicated slot with staging and amplification to show them off to their finest. This is purely for amateur players and there are no costs involved. However, this year we will be making a collection for our Charity of the Year – FACT – Fighting All Cancers Together

At this stage it would be really helpful if you could let us know

  • Do you fancy doing a performance?
  • Is your group likely to be coming along?
  • Is there anything you would like to see happen at the festival?
  • Are there any other groups you could let us know about?

Just drop us an email at ukesofthenorth@aol.com   All the details will be sorted nearer the time, but any updates will be posted here.
